• Not attending the conference, but going to watch it live online that day? Submit your story below (narrative or video) and/or post on social media that day.

On Wednesday, May 9, we will be talking about the National Action Plan to Improve Health Literacy. We'll share some stories from people like you about how you developed an Action Plan for your organization or agency. We'll provide tips and information about how to write an Action Plan and why this is important. And we'll draw some connections between the National Action Plan and a new document from the Institute of Medicine, "Attributes of a Health Literate Organization."

Stories may be shared in any of these ways:

• If you are going to be at the conference, let us know and you can tell your story in person.
• Create and upload a short video telling us what you did. (Hint: Don't worry about being too formal; use your iPhone, video recorder, iPad or any other recording device and just tell your story! Short--about 1-2 minutes tops--is best.)
• Write up a short (2-3 paragraphs) story about what you did and post it below.
• Give us a short social media post (Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn) during the event.
