Our Mission - Empowering people to better health

IHA provides a Health Literacy Rewrite and Redesign Service to make your health education materials easier to use and more understandable to your patients...Our "What To Do For Health" book series features easy-to-read and use healthcare information on caring for yourself and your loved ones ... We produce an annual continuing education Health Literacy Conference for healthcare professionals and educators to teach them about health literacy, best practices, innovative programs, and how to improve their patient education ... We provide management services for Friends of Family Health Center, a licensed community health center that provides direct healthcare delivery for children, adults and seniors in our community ... Outreach and social services are delivered to the community through our La Habra Family Resource Center, including home visits, insurance assistance, case management, referrals and education.
