Welcome to the new Friends of Children Health Center!

We look forward to providing you with the highest quality medical and dental care for your children ages birth to 18 years. (Click here for services provided).  Our new offices in the Barnett Center are state-of-the-art in design, equipment, and staff skills and experience.  (Click here to see pictures of our new facility.) We are easy to get to and there is lots of free, safe parking.

For over 13 years Friends of Children has served the community’s kids.  We combine technology and highly trained professionals, with old-fashioned compassion and caring, in the service of our patients.  We also mix in a lot of patient education, so our patients and their families can take better care of themselves and prevent injuries and illness.  To better serve our patients, Friends of Children Health Center is open Monday through Saturday, including evening hours on Monday and Thursday. We created Friends of Children Health Center to care for low income and uninsured families in La Habra. Friends of Children now serves families of all incomes. Today, in addition to La Habra and Whittier, our patients come from many cities in Orange and Los Angeles counties.  And while we accept almost all insurance plans, as always, no child is refused care because a family can’t afford to pay.  If you don’t have insurance, or don’t know how to get health insurance, you may be able to get insurance at no cost to you. We have someone here to help you sign your kids up for insurance.   

Friends of Children Health Center is a part of the Institute for Healthcare Advancement (IHA).  IHA is a not for profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt foundation.  Our mission is "Empowering people to better health."
