IHA's 7th Annual Health Literacy Conference Set for May 1-2, 2008: Call for Posters Issued
A Call for Posters has been issued for IHA's Seventh Annual Health Literacy Conference, "Health Literacy in Primary Care: Best Practices and Skill Building," scheduled for May 1-2, 2008, at the Hyatt Regency Irvine. Our scheduled keynote speaker is Richard H. Carmona, M.D., M.P.H., FACS, the 17th Surgeon General of the United States (2002-2006). Sign up to receive information about the conference. Friends of Children Health Center has a new home!
The Friends of Children Health Center has opened its doors in its new home in the Barnett Center, same as IHA. Friends of Children Health Center provides primary medical and dental care for vulnerable children in La Habra. We Operate La Habra Family Resource Center/Project Connections
From its new home on the grounds of the Las Lomas Elementary School in La Habra, the La Habra Family Resource Center/Project Connections reaches out to La Habra families with bilingual services such as counseling, emergency assistance, health education, case management, after-school programs and more.  Click here to read more about the center.
