About the Teachers' Training Manuals ...
IHA is pleased to offer Teacher’s Training Manuals for use with its books in the series, "What To Do For Health." These resource books are designed to assist those who would like to teach book recipients how to most effectively use the book. The primary means of teaching is in a classroom setting, in a 1.5- to 2-hour class. However, the manuals also provide information on how to effectively distribute the books via an in-home visit, office visit, or through the mail.

Q. Is there a Teacher’s Training Manual for each of the books?
A.
Yes. A separate manual has been developed for each book in the "What To Do For Health" series.

Q. Do I need a Teacher’s Training Manual to distribute the books?
A.
No, but our research indicates that recipients who learn how to use the book tend to use it more frequently, keep it longer and refer to it when the need arises. And that’s the purpose of giving them the books in the first place.

Q. If I’m just buying one copy of the book for myself, do I need a Teacher’s Training Manual?
A
. No. The Teacher’s Training Manual is designed for those purchasing a large number of books to distribute to a group. The Manual is a guide to help them teach those recipients how to use the book more effectively.

Q. Are the slides available in Spanish as well as English?
A.
Yes. You may request your slides in Spanish or English.

Q. How much is the Teacher’s Training Manual?
A.
The Manual is available for $39.95.
