Senior Week

November 4 to 9

About Senior Week

La Habra Senior Week was created to help seniors of the La Habra area as well as their caregivers. By linking various non-profits, religious affiliations, and businesses, we hope to give seniors the resources they need to age gracefully. Fully supported by organizations such as Institute for Healthcare Advancement, the La Habra Collaborative, St. Josephs Medical Hospital, and the City of the Habra, we hope to make each year bigger than the last!

Save the Date!

The Institute for Healthcare Advancement (IHA), La Habra Move More, Eat Healthy (MMEH) partners, and St. Jude Medical Center are excited to announce the second annual La Habra Senior Week!

What is Senior Week?

Senior Week is a celebration of people ages 55 and over, and caregivers.  Free events that promote health are held each day of this special week. This is a chance for you to meet other people in your community and learn about ways to stay healthy as you age.

During Senior Week, you can:

  • Learn about local businesses and services for older adults.
  • Take classes on how to avoid money scams, keeping your brain healthy, and so much more.
  • Get your flu shot and blood pressure checked and at the Senior Health Fair.
  • Have fun! Enjoy a concert in the park, have lunch with the Mayor, and go to a Senior Dance.
